Geoff Nudell received his musical education at the Dick Grove School of Music and a Bachelor of Music degree at California State University, Northridge. His instructors have included William Calkins, Abbey Fraser, Victor Morosco, Sam Most and Phil Sobel. Geoff has played, toured or recorded with Christina Aguilera, Frankie Avalon, Tony Bennett, Debbie Boone, Pat Boone, Carol Burnett, Cab Calloway Johnny Crawford, Fleetwood Mac, Peggy Lee, Ricky Martin, Liza Minelli, Rita Moreno, Frederica von Stade, Leslie Uggams and Ian Whitcomb. In addition, his extensive symphonic background has included performances with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Los Angeles Opera Orchestra, Long Beach Opera, Downey, Glendale, Pasadena, San Diego, Asia America, New West Symphony, Santa Cecilia and Culver City Symphony Orchestras.  His jazz experience has included performances with the Buddy Collette, Gerald Wilson, Ladd McIntosh, Mike Price, Psych! and David Ricard big bands and the Pasadena Jazz Orchestra. Recording experience includes numerous jingles, motion pictures and a variety of network and cable television programs. In addition to playing clarinet for the Emmy award-winning drama “Monk,” Geoff recently played on the music scores to the Disney/Pixar film, “The Good Dinosaur” and the Warner Bros. animation feature, “Storks”, and is currently recording for the Amazon Prime series “Patriot.” Geoff is also active as a theater musician, having performed in the pit orchestras for dozens of Broadway and off-Broadway productions all over Los Angeles and Orange County. He currently plays principal clarinet with the San Fernando Valley Symphony Orchestra, and can be seen as lead alto saxophonist with the renowned swing band, the Dean Mora Orchestra. Geoff has extensive experience as a private instructor, and is a former member of the music faculty at California State University, Northridge and Colburn School, Los Angeles, CA.
